This Sunday, Mother’s Day, beginning at 10:30 a.m., we will be returning to inside worship. I am asking everyone to help us keep everyone safe as we gather. We have prepared the facilities by doing a deep cleaning of all surfaces. We have pulled the hymnbooks and Bibles from the pews to help eliminate contact of those surfaces. We are encouraging everyone to keep a social distance of six feet between your “isolation group” and others. Please feel free to wear a mask as you deem necessary. And we will be eliminating or modifying some of our typical practices to keep everyone safe.
As of now, we will only be having Sunday morning worship. There will be no in-house Small Groups, Children’s Church, Infant Care, or Sunday night services. The current plan is not to return to a full Sunday schedule until May 31st. We will be having Adult, Youth, and Children’s activities on Wednesday nights beginning May 20th. For all the details, please look at the church calendar on our website.
We are moving slowly back to our regular schedule as we see how the Covid-19 virus affects our community.
I look forward to returning to this modified new normal.
Pastor Jim
